The men of SSU baseball team traveled to Charleston Southern University last week to take on the Bucs of CSU in a single game battle and came out on on the bottom losing to the Bucs 0-7 in 9-innings. They then traveled to Atlanta,GA to take on the Panthers of Georgia State University taking another loss 6-12 in another 9-innings.
The weekend travels took the mens baseball team to Greensboro, S.C. to North Carolina A&T University in a double header battle Saturday the 26th of April and a single game battle on the diamond Sunday the 27th of April. The Tigers of SSU came out on top over this weekend with a 3 game win versus NC A&T University. Double header the Tigers won 17-7 first game and 2-1 the second game and finished off the series on Sunday with a win 13-11 to cap off the weekend.
The Wildcats of Bethune-Cookman University travel to Savannah, Georgia to take on our Tigers of SSU on the weekend of May 3, 2014- May 4, 2014 on a Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m.
Next week they cap off the regular season with their last home game at Savannah State University against Jackson State University on May 6, 2014 at 2 p.m. The final game of the regular season our Tigers travel to Athens, Ga to take on the Bulldogs of University of Georgia May 7, 2014 at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
